First Gig

“First Gig” is a great place to start on Band Rush. Start small if the budget is nearly non-existent. Here is a breakdown of what you should know:

YourOwnBandName.com, that’s where. You can measure where your traffic is coming from, how many hits per day, what seems to work and what doesn’t.
Not only that, you can have “name@bandname.com”. How legit does that look rather than starwarskid321@aol.com? - The more blog posts you have, the better chances of being found through Googling rather than depending on the single-page Myspace design.
